Humanity And Its Rational Ability To Draw Sound Conclusions

The human species is a very social creature. For an individual to feel protected and secured it has to get acquainted and would always find the need to associate with others. Much like the early primitive cave dwellers, it has to seek shelter and refuge by belonging to an organized pack where survival is the social influence. Associating with others influences an individual's sense of reasoning which affects his ability to decide. The choices we make in our everyday life is very crucial to what we may become in the unforeseeable future. Decisions are the choices we make, it could be right and it could be wrong, its result could either be gratifying or devastating.
Humanity is filled with differences. There is always something to compare and choose. If there is no black then there is no white, if no one is short then no one can be tall, if no one is less then nobody can be great, and if no one is wrong then no one is right. But it will be foolish to right one wrong by doing another wrong. And by being the sole intellectual creature to inhabit the earth, we have to decide for the best and not for the worst.

Beyond every territorial walls there is an economic battle going on among nations. Globalization means rapid industrialization and technological advancement which entails fierce competition among nations. We are striving everyday to preserve peace and maintain the sanity of mankind in order for us to survive as a species. We put much effort in trying to resolve global conflicts as civilize as we can in every humane way possible so that we may prevent the occurrence of another world war. But if while trying to promote peace we are also contradicting ourselves with our personal differences and interest then how else can we ever survive. Perhaps the human race is really inclined to barbaric acts such as placing the whole world in an irrecoverable state of devastation and destruction. Needless to say it, but then again, the barbarous nature of man was an established fact ever since the time of the primitive cave dwellers when the first caveman bashed the head of another caveman with a piece of sharp rock, thus discovering the usefulness of the rock as his first tool to hunt for food.
